History Continues to Repeat Itself

Before holding the dinner party with Paul Atreides, the members of the parliament of Arrakis got informed that an outside player had developed a Nuclear Bomb. While every house has access to one, this outside player is unknown and could accidently click on the red button at any moment thinking it is the latte button. Furthermore, as Arrakis embarks in a Cold War, the MP’s attention is given to Spices. As they prepare a peace dinner, spices are a key part of the meal but unlike pepper or cinnamon, the spices in question are the fuel of Arrakis civilization as they fuel everything. A dependence that comes at a great cost as Paul previously stole the spices with no resistance. Many solutions were considered as a land invasion of a spice rich countries but the chosen solution was to develop a synthetic substitute to spices with explosive and uncertified material
