Western Powers Angered as Middle-Eastern Conflict Worsens
Following Iraq’s full invasion and occupation of Kuwait, multiple Western Nations, most notably the United States of America have expressed discontentment with the rising tensions in the region. Multiple economists have spoken out about the drastic effects this has on gas prices in the U.S. and various administrative disagreements have prevented the creation of a proper military alliance between NATO and the Arab world.
Various C-Suite executives in oil companies as well as economists have spoken out about the destruction of American co-owned oil wells, causing massive problems for both the oil barons and for regular civilians who suddenly have to pay way more at the pumps, with prices surging to $1.35 per gallon.
Multiple resolutions were in the works to get a military coalition in place to fend off the Iraqi threat, none were voted upon, and thus, a formal military alliance is not formed yet. This has sparked outrage among the international community who has condemned the United States’ diplomats for their handling of the middle eastern crisis.
